What I’m Wearing:

– I’ve been SO excited about my two new pairs of heels that I got for fall. Closed toe, low heel, neutrals. First one is the cognac suede heels – they look so expensive and are super comfortable. I wore them to the ShopMy/Alex Mill dinner. And the second pair is this darker brown suede low heel that are also SUPER chic. I wore those to the MBR dinner Thursday night!
– Belts!! I’m finally coming back around to wanting to wear belts again. I feel like it gives your eye a nice place to land and adds a little more to an outfit.
– Wore this new dupioni tank from Tuckernuck last week and she is a beauty! The lines and structure of it are really nice and looks fun with jeans or pants!
– My new lake pajamas. I think this will be one of my favorite gifts of the upcoming season. It’s a tank with long pants and matching wrap kimono robe. It’s exquisite and cozy and flattering. I’m obsessed.
– It’s fair isle season, just makes you think of crisp weather and pretty fall leaves and a kitchen that smells really good. Just me? I wore this fair isle sweater last week, love it so much.
What I’m Eyeing & Buying:

– If you’re looking for a non-dress option for holiday events, I ADORE this red velvet waisted jacket (has matching pants too). Comes in dark green and black too.
– My big puffer varley coat I got last year is one of my favorite cozy things, and they have a new shorter puffer coat version out now that I love!!
– With the 20% off Ruti sale happening now (ends tonight) I’ve been eyeing my pants that I have but in the new corduroy. I love the dark blue. Such a great shape!
– I got the most delicious suede drawstring bag – it’s oversized and slouchy and is the prettiest chestnut brown! I have a code – CHASSITYE20 for 20% off at JMclaughlin.
– Dying over this quilted green large tote that just arrived on Shopbop. We need more whimsy!! It’s just happy.
What I’m Reading, Watching, & Listening To:
Holy SMOKES. I binged the new 4th season of The Diplomat this weekend and am speechless. I know I’ve talked about this show before more than once because it’s truly one of my all time favorite shows. I’ve rewatched it at least 3 times. Do yourself a favor and watch it.
Currently reading Bad Words and am SO IN IT. It’s a fantastic book. Emily Henry described it as “a once in a lifetime read”, hence why I picked it up. Katie of Beach Reads & Bubbly also had rave reviews. It takes place in the publishing/author/critic world, and honestly one thing I find annoying is the elitism of that specific publishing world and how special some people thing their lit tastes are, but trust me it’s a wonderful story.
Listening to myself read aloud what I’m writing. I mentioned I’ve started a third book while my editor works on my book 2. Book 3 is the start of a new series I’m working on – unrelated to Pink Sand Summer’s universe. I’m a few chapters in and I’ve been reading my chapters aloud as I finish them. It’s interesting how different they sound in that way!

~ Easily one of the most received responses in my DMS this week, thanks to their huge 20% off sale that ends tonight!! I’m 5’4, but i don’t wear the petite (they recommend petite for 5’2 and under). I wear the Regular 2. I could also do the 4 I think, so if you’re between sized and unsure you could size up! I have these pants in both the black and the brown, but i could make a very strong case for all of the colors bc they’re literally the best pants. Love the navy!

Under $100 Wins:

– I just got some new earrings from bauble bar – these semi-precious drop earrings in both the blue and the dalmation. Only $44 and you’d never know it.
– This is the best under $100 option I’ve found for my floating diamond necklace I wear everyday. Beautiful. And there are a lot of stone options.
– My code AHTA3 for At Home is still good for 15% off, I bought this pre-lit norway potted xmas tree.
– Crown Affair’s dry shampoo, just bought another container of this b/c I use it so much, it really is the best stuff ever.
