I’m not going to be able to do this night justice. But I’m going to try.
On Wednesday night I had the extreme honor of attending a Pink Sand Summer book dinner celebration, hosted by my incredible friends Grace Atwood Atwood and Erika Veurink . Erika was in Charleston a couple of months ago when she hosted an EV Salon party that I attended. Grace and Erika threw out the idea of having a dinner for my book in NYC, and then they actually followed up and did the thing. DELIGHTFUL and supportive humans ~ Erika and Grace.
Below, this is Grace on the left and Erika on the right. They brought on our friends at Talbots as a brand partner for the dinner, along with Alex at ADC Group to plan the event at Raf’s. It was absolutely incredible. Caroline Fiss was the photographer of all of these photos, and thank goodness because I barely took anything!
I got to see some old friends as well as make a lot of new friends. I’ll admit I was a little nervous and intimidated going into this dinner. NYC just does that to me for some reason. But everyone was so warm and kind and fun! A true dream night. And everyone looked so so gorgeous in their Talbots outfits.

The feeling in the room was so joyful and fun. Give me a room of girls that love to talk about books and I don’t want to leave.

These Talbots leather bookmarks were painted with everyone’s name and a little bougainvillea nod to Pink Sand Summer, and placed at each seat. They turned out so gorgeous!!

The biggest thank you to Grace, Erika, Ellen, Meredith, and Alex for putting together a dream NYC night that I couldn’t have even dreamed up! I’m feeling the love!
