Yesterday on Greedy Girl, Caroline reminded me of the shop Bona Drag.ย  It had escaped from my radar, and I was pleased to visit it’s spirited collection of fashions.ย  Adoring these cut aways.

Oh, and did you know the term “Bona Drag” means “nice outfit” in Polari?
What’s Polari you ask?
It was a secrect language used by the gay culture in London in the 1960’s.๏ปฟ
Don’t ever say you never learned anything on LLL.ย  ๏ปฟAnd here areย a few pretties for all my fellow asymmetrical lovers out there.
So, who knows Polari?!ย  Show me what you got!

    Seriously wishing I was busting out some awesome Polari lingo right now…but I got nothin’. )c: But i just googled that word and the first sentance that came up was:

    “Polari is a form of cant slang used in Britain by actors, circus and fairground showmen, criminals, prostitutes, and by the gay subculture.”
