New Year, New Intentions?

With the start of a new year and new calendar (I love this one), I always try to reflect positively on my intentions for the new year. Rather than focus on what I think I’ve been doing wrong or inadequately, why not celebrate a few of the things I’m proud of and want to carry with me into the new year?

doing right

I’ll leave it at 5, because starting off a new year with a big head wouldn’t be good, would it.ย Of course there is always room for improvement. So in 2014 I want to focus more on my family when I’m with them. As much as I love my iPhone, I use it way too much. It’s just such a habit. Another 2014 intention is to be a better meal planner. There are so many days that 4 o’clock hits and I have no idea what we’re doing for dinner and I just throw something together that I’m certainly not proud of.ย Lastly, I plan to develop my blog into a more creative space. I put a lot of my heart and time into this space and that is important to me. I want it to be a place that you all enjoy coming to. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your days past and, I hope, 2014. If y’all have any thoughts or ideas I would love to hear them.
