Well I’m now 28 weeks pregnant and have entered the 3rd trimester.ย Where did the time go?ย Seriously though, this pregnancy has flown by.ย I guess because I’m so busy and am notย contantly reading aboutย pregnancyย like I did with Lilly.ย And interestingly, this pregnancy has been almost identical to mine with Lilly.ย I’ve always heard to expect a different experience for different genders.ย This is a good thing though,ย because it’s been fairly smooth and easy.
With that said,ย today Iย go in for my gestational diabetes test.ย I had it with Lilly, so I’m expecting to have it this time too.ย ย Luckily I had the lightestย case ever and could stillย pretty much eat whatever (just not a ton of it)ย and still keep my sugar levels fine.ย I don’tย wish to prick my finger 4 times a day again though….ย But I’ve been preparing by eating as much halloween candy as possible the past few weeks so thatย I don’t feelย left out (poor me) and I just made a big bowl of myย Granny’s bomb diggity chicken salad (which I admit I had to google “how to boil an egg” to make).ย I’m prepared.ย Wish me luck!ย ย (So thatย I can eat lots of this.)
