Before Gift Guides begin rolling out, I thought it would be great fun to make a prediction list of what I think will be the most popular gifts of the year! Here are my predictions…
Top Predictions For This Year’s Most Popular Gifts:
– Quality Bedding – Not a new quilt design, but luxurious sheets (I’ve used these for 6+ years). Two sets per bed is a true luxury so that laundry day each week isn’t such a scramble. The most loved waffle blanket that is the BEST layer on your bed. And today’s the last day for Boll & Branch’s Turndown Sale!!
– Monkey Pajamas – Yes you know the one. Lilly has more pairs of these polo pajamas than anything else in her closet. And she’s not alone in this obsession.
– Bezel Drop Earrings – Listen, Lilly works at Hart and packages holiday orders, so I have insider information for how many orders come through there. Also, their buildable charm necklaces. Have you seen the new charm drop???
– Cozy Knits – What is December without a quality cozy sweater. You can’t beat the La Ligne Marin. Have a bigger budget and looking to gift something extra special? Look no further than a personalized crest/monogram embellished sweater from Le Lion. I LOVE mine. Looking for a $50-ish gift? This v-neck sweater on Nordstrom is gorgeous and there are a lot of colors. And for the guys – I got this one for Josh.
– Comfy Sweats – If December is for the quality cozy sweaters then January is for the comfy sweats. These are my all time fave and make an excellent gift. The sweatshirt, too.
– Lab Diamonds/Stones – Obviously. And we have some GREAT options here. I love my tennis necklace and it makes for an incredibly exciting gift. I just got this ring and maybe it should be an early holiday gift to yourself. Or go the traditional route with these lab grown diamond stud earrings.
– Custom Totes – Bauble Bar’s new custom totes are SO GOOD. There are tens of color options, different patterns, and fun customization ideas!! And the prices are incredible.
– The Ruti Pant – I’m just gonna say it. I really think this will be one of this year’s biggest gifts because they are TRIED and TRUE and people love to gift what they love and use themselves. If I were buying them as a gift and knew they were a size 6 or 8 I’d go with the 8.
– Leveled Up Beauty – I’ll repeat myself, people love to gift the things they love and use themselves. I predict both Crown Affair dry shampoo and Kate McLeod body stones will be biggies this year. BTW I just did a campaign with Kate McLeod on Instagram this past week, I LOVE THEM SO MUCH, this mention is not sponsored. I also love to gift
– Books – The best thing about reading a good book is telling someone else about it. I think Calamity Club (on my tbr) and Theo of Golden will be safe bets. And while I could only dream of Pink Sand Summer being a most popular gift of the year, I would be incredibly grateful if you’d consider giving it to someone on your list! It’s like a vacation!
– Parke Sweatshirts – Who remembers the scramble to find on in stock last year?? BUY THEM NOW before everyone else starts their holiday shopping while they’re actually in stock. Again, I have no doubt in my mind this will be a biggie this year. It’s all the teens wear. When we did our college visit it was all the college girls were wearing. If you have a teen girl on your list you cannot go wrong with this gift.
– Luggage – You know you’re in your forties when you are excited about luggage. Heck what am I saying, I was excited back in my twenties and thirties. It’s the sort of thing that none of us really want to buy for ourselves. But when you have that smart, roomy carry on suitcase that literally feels like it’s gliding on air THEN you understand why it’s worth having quality luggage.
