The Weekly Rounds

HLD let’s do it!

What I’m Wearing:

Wearing: green sweatshirt xs, light wash jeans 26, suede bag, turquoise corded necklace

– You guys I’ve worn this green ralph lauren sweatshirt over and over again this past week, it’s literally the softest and perfect fit.

– Have we discussed my new fall suede bag?? I can’t remember now. I am SO excited about it, she’s perfect!! I love the size and the shape!! I added this little scarf to the handle!

– I wore these red drawstring pants to lunch at Obstinate Daughter with Josh this week. They’re a really nice lightweight fit!!

– I’m in that season of starting to transition from some dresses and moving towards shirts I can wear with pants and jeans and skirts. This stripe wrapped shirt is so cute and I wore it lunch this past week! I have the xxs and it’s 30% off right now.

– I got a new pair of jeans! They’re madewell and have the slightest barrel fit and are so flattering! Under $150!

What I’m Eyeing & Buying:

Wearing: lace top 2, suede jacket xs, the best everyday jeans 26, white low heels, blue top handle leather bag, blue gemstone necklace

– I got the pisces tee and I love it so much. It’s this really soft thin fabric and hits nicely on the waist, not too long and not too short. I’m into graphic tees this fall.

– I found a new to me brand it’s called Johnny Was. Honestly I don’t like the name at all but they do have some realllly pretty pieces. These floral pants are STUNNING. And paired with this floral blazer – would be so cute for my upcoming Cotswolds trip this fall…. Also I’m obsessed with this long mini dress. The colors are so good for fall and it looks super flattering with the tie waist!

– So many cute new JCrew arrivals and their LDW sale is 40% off your purchase right now! LOVE these utility jeans and these silky pants.

– Third Love’s wireless lifting bra is 40% off right now! Lots of colors. I really like their fabric they use.

– I just ordered these barrel leg chino pants and this peridot cashmere boyfriend sweater! Perfect fall pieces.

What I’m Reading, Watching ,& Listening To:

Wearing: white button down top xs, pink shorts xs, suede loafers, suede bag, tennis necklace, chain bracelet

I finally have something new to talk about lol. I started Widow’s Bay. I’m maybe 5 episodes in. I mean, I like it. It’s obviously really well done and I like the main actor (Felicity’s husband). But I’m not sure if I’ll finish it or not b/c I think there are like 10 episodes and it’s just not my usual type of show. Tho it is probably fun for the month of October so maybe I’ll save the rest for then.

Sidebar, I am DEVASTATED about the Not Suitable For Work cancellation. Truly one of my favorite shows and I know I wrote about it. I am still holding out big hope that another network saves it b/c I think it has the potential to a beloved classic with a long run.

Reading, just started book 8 of Emma Lions and as happy as I am to be reading it I’m equally depresses that this is the end of my run until she publishes the next one. It’s my favorite thing since Sweet Valley High. It’s like a gilmore girls community vibe (minus the mother relationship) set in an 1800s fictional London neighborhood.

What’s In My ShopMy Storefront:

Did you catch the August Best Sellers Round Up? I love it all but special shout out to my oversized mockneck sweatshirt bc its FINALLY back in stock. Every time I see this pretty cardigan it just makes me happy. And not at all surprised to see the bandana print tote bag in the mix!

In my Under $300 Round Up I’m loving this brushed cashmere cardigan and most of all this collared cable knit sweater!

I also put together a collection of the New Varley Faves b/c Oh MY God their fall season is so good. A zip through knit that I wore all the time last fall that I still get questions about has been brought back to life!! This is one of my most versatile layers tbh. Varley’s jacket game is really high right now in general. My long rain jacket that also sold out so fast is now back. This isn’t to be confused with my favorite everyday rain jacket (that truly can’t be beat). This long rain jacket is a different category, it’s the heavy duty rain gear that I grab for lacrosse games in the rain and such like that.

What’s In My DMs:

Wearing: v-neck tee xs CHASSITY15, brown pleated button down skirt xs, gold sandals, raffia puzzle tote, charm necklace, sunglasses, tshirt bra

“I’m looking for basic plain tees that look good with jeans but also wear smoothly under layers like sweaters.” ~ YES. Okay I love this v-neck, I have it in oatmeal (shown above) as well as white and black. Just fyi I cut this one so it’s a little shorter. They have a great crewneck version too, as well as the perfect drop shoulder tee that I honestly I need too. I wear the xs in this brand. And I have a code – CHASSITY15

Under $100 Wins:

Wearing: cableknit turtleneck xs, white barrel jeans 26, cloud cotton thong, suede caged flats CHASSITY10, leather mini tote, turquoise chain necklace CHASSITY15, sunglasses

– I ordered a few under $100 finds from Madewell included these satin drawstring pants (I did the black), this blue stripe poplin button down shirt, and this 90s cardigan. LOVE the length.

– I really like to keep Kate Mcleod lotion bars on hand bc one – I really like them they’re so delightful to use and they smell incredible – and two – bc they make the best little gift for a bday lunch or a hostess surcee in leiu of wine.

– I wear a lot of wirefree bras BUT this is my favorite tee shirt bra when I need somethign that gives a little more formal shape.

– We did a family lunch at Currentburger yesterday with the kids (its So freaking good and is one of my fave cheeseburger and fries in town but honestly the line was insane, need to go at off hours next time), and afterward we ran by Vuori to grab a tank for lilly bc it’s her fave. Honestly imo it’s overpriced so fair warning, but it is one of her most favorite worn things so we got her another.

– Found this oversized blue cardigan from Z Supply that is a real look alike to my Jenni Kayne one that I love so much.
