Last week I had one of the most truly humbling experiences in my author career since publishing my first book in May. My friend Cassie Kelley hosted a Pink Sand Summer celebration dinner party in Nashville. And when I mean celebration I mean she took the Pink Sand Summer Harbour Island VIBE and built it at the Soho House. I was honestly speechless. Look at how beautiful this is.
Every single detail was just impeccable. The umbrellas, the bar, the florals, the tablesetting.
Cassie has the most lovely friends in Nashville and they were all so wonderful and supportive and kind!

Look at this cute sign she had made for the entrance!! I wore this tulip dress, I love the shape of it!
Honestly I could go on and on about how wonderful all the ladies who came are, a few I had met in person like Virginia here on the right. I had not met Karen here on the left and she’s the singer in Little Big Town. Their song Pontoon is one of my karaoke songs!! I was star stuck. She was so lovely!! What is this life?!
Finally met my online friend and girl crush Cortney, aka Cheesegal. I’m in conversation with her for her new book Oversharing when she comes to Charleston Sept 17th for her book tour! She is FABULOUS. If you’re in town please come! If you’re not in town, maybe it’s the perfect excuse for a girl’s trip?
It was SO amazing to meet one of my favorite authors Hannah Brown! I brought her latest book Reasons To Be Loved By You so that I could get her to sign it. She was an absolute doll of a human and we talked about writing all dinner!
The biggest thank you in the world to Cassie. You’re the kind of dream friend one can only wish to have. Shaina Burrell the entire event design was truly Harbour Island in Nashville, and you couldn’t have done it better. The flowers were out of this world somethingstyledco 🩷 Thank you to @marycravenphotography and @contentbymadieice for capturing the event so beautifully. And @of.note you all pulled it all together so flawlessly! Thank you so much to all of you!
