Doing My Hair Again
What I mean is, in the summer I let my hair air dry most of the time. I’ll still do that, in fact I had dinner at Halls with girlfriends last night and went with air dried hair. But I’ll be actually finishing my hair more this season, for a smoother look, not that it’s not so hot. I SWEAR by my dyson airwrap id. It’s pricey but oh so worth it. I also love the dyson airstraight! But lilly has stolen mine away to her bedroom.
Lab Diamonds
We’ve talked about this before but lab grown diamonds are where it’s at. Truly. They’ve come such a long way and I really cannot tell the difference. My favorite lab grown pieces are this tennis necklace, this tennis bracelet, and these earrings.
Long Pajamas
Coming with me from summer b/c I’m always a long sleeve pajama and long pant kind of girl. This pair and also this pair are my two favorites!
Multi Bed Layers
I like layered options on my bed. First I DO sleep with a top sheet. And ever since getting a waffle blanket 6 years ago I’ll never go back, it’s the best. And then a fluffy duvet, very important. And yes that’s another waffle blanket but sometimes it’s a chappy too! Actually it’s usually a chappy there. I also always sleep with my boobie pillow, but I usually use it between my knees b/c it helps support my hips.
Gradual Tanning Body Lotion
I just look better with a little color. And I’ve always preferred a gradual tanning lotion to the instant ones. I’ve had a few over the years I’ve tried and loved, but nothing compares to this Brown Bee gradual tan. Seriously!!
Delicate Jewelry
I’m a delicate jewelry kinda girl and I realize this canary pendant necklace leans a little larger that what I’m talking about here. I will tell you my three tried and true most favorite delicate pieces 1. this floating diamond necklace (look for less here) 2. definitely this delicate necklace, it’s so teeny on the chain and goes with everything and 3. I gotta go with my mini (not the midi or the large since we’re talking delicate here) initial charms!!
Light Jackets
It never gets thattttt cold (at least for long) in charleston so the majority of my outwear is light jackets. My fave ones for this fall are 1. this cropped trench, 2. this rain jacket and 3. this knit zip up layer!
Fall/Winter Sunglasses
Wearing: ruffle top, pink shorts
I love a fresh pair of sunglasses for fall and winter. Like, it excites me. I have two that I’ll likely be wearing the most this year. 1. these new metal rim sunglasses and 2. these that are probably my most fave right now.
Cozy Easy Cookbooks
We have been absolutely gifted with all of the fun girls giving us cookbooks!! Caroline Chambers and both of her cookbooks. Wishbone Kitchen. And I’m SO excited for my Cheesegal cookbook Oversharing to deliver any day now! Couch snacks for months!
Comfortable Undergarments
New season new underwear drawer update and clean out. I think I’ve mentioned it but these are my new most fave every day pair. Followed closely by these. And for a seamless option I love these.
Duponi Silk Tops
Fall and winter outfits lend especially well to a little structure which is why I have mulitple of these duponi silk tops! One of my friends was wearing one at dinner last night and made me think to add it here in this post!
Comfy Closed Toe Flats
I mostly live in closed toe flats in the winter. My most faves I have so far for this season are 1. these suede loafers and 2. these crisscross flats.

All The Pants & Jeans
I wear way more pants and jeans in the cooler months than dresses. So much so that I had to order more hanger clips for my closet yesterday!! 3 pairs that will be in heavy rotation this fall – 1. these brown barrels that are crazy soft. 2. the famous taffeta pant I have 2 colors so far they’re even better in person. 3. these new jeans are the perfect fit and everyday shape and under $150.
Cozy Knits
Last but not least the true winner of fall and winter, a cozy knit. La Ligne’s mini marin is my most favorite sweater. It’s truly the best and comes in so many colors stripes and solids. I wear the xs.
